U srijedu, 24.05.2017. godine, predstavnici Centra za sigurnosne studije (CSS) su obavili sastanak s dr. Samirom Agićem, pomoćnikom ministra sigurnosti BiH za zaštitu i spašavanje.
Tokom sastanka, predstavnici CSS-a su gospodina Agića upoznali o implementaciji projekta „Pomoć opštinama da unaprijede sistem ranog upozoravanja i podrška oporavku od poplava – SAFE“, finansiran od Evropske unije, te o njegovim ciljevima i planiranim aktivnostima.
Gospodin Agić je izrazio zadovoljstvo projektom, kao i podršku njegovoj implementaciji. Također, predstavnike CSS-a je upoznao o stanju sistema zaštite i spašavanja na području Bosne i Hercegovine, ali i o trenutnim aktivnostima s ciljem njegovog jačanja i unapređenja.
Teritorijalni fokus projekta „SAFE“ su opštine Sanski Most (Federacija BiH) i Oštra Luka (Republika Srpska), a period implementacije je 12 mjeseci. Glavni cilj projekta je podrška oporavku tih lokalnih zajednica te unapređenje nivoa opremljenosti i obučenosti sistema za rano upozoravanje od prirodnih katastrofa.
On Wednesday, 24th May 2017, representatives of the Centre for Security Studies (CSS) held a meeting with Samir Agic, PhD, Assistant Minister of Security BiH for Protection and Rescue.
During the meeting, representatives of the CSS informed Mr. Agic on the implementation of the project “Assistance to affected municipalities in improving the early flood warning system and supporting the flood recovery – SAFE”, funded by the European Union, and on its objectives and planned activities.
Mr. Agic expressed his satisfaction with the project, as well as support to its implementation. Also, CSS representatives were informed about the state of the system of protection and rescue in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on current activities with the aim of strengthening and improving it.
The territorial focus of the project „SAFE“ are the municipalities Sanski Most (Federation of BiH) and Ostra Luka (Republika Srpska), and the implementation period is 12 months. The main objective of the project is to support the recovery of these communities and improve the quality of equipment and training for the early warning system.
