Centre for Security Studies, Sarajevo (CSS), in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina through Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) – NATO/Partnership Education and Training Centre in Bosnia and Herzegovina has organized regional “Seminar on Development of Civil Stabilization Capabilities in PSO” that was held from 25th to 27th of September 2013 at PSOTC.
The aim of the Seminar was to enhance the understanding of the aspects of the civil contribution with focus on Rule of Law in PSO by practitioners and in promoting democracy and assisting reconciliation process. This will also be a good opportunity to share lessons identified and experience from PSO missions in this area. The Seminar is designed for the senior level military and police officers who plan to deploy in PSO missions as well as for the Bosnian expert team who is in charge for preparation of civilians to be deployed PSO.
This seminar is part of CSS project named „Support to institutional building of PSOTC in increasing their capacities for smooth transition to local ownership” financed from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.
