A two-day seminar titled “The Rule of Law in Peacekeeping Operations” was carried out at PSOTC on 23rd and 24th of April 2012. The seminar was a part of the UN Police course, jointly developed by Centre for Security Studies, PSOTC and the Ministry of Security BiH, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.
The purpose of the seminar was to enhance the understanding of the rule of law in the context of peacekeeping operations, given that the police and judiciary play a significant role in both planning and promotion of the principles of democracy.
30 police officers from BiH and 10 regional police officers, who are preparing for UN missions on both operative and tactical level, attended the seminar, along with expert speakers.
