In cooperation with UNDP BIH, Centre for Security Studies has began with the implementation of the „Small Arms Survey 2010“ in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aim of the research is to present most current and up-to-date information and data on the overall state of SALW control in BIH.

Different segment will be analyzed, in particular the overall distribution of small arms across Bosnia and Herzegovina; the impact of SALW on the human environment, specifically by looking at armed crime and the impact on individuals, communities and the state; the views of the public in relation to SALW in their communities; and by examining the capacity of local and international institutions in dealing with small arms problems in BiH.
