U srijedu, 28. septembra 2016. godine održana je prezentacija rezultata drugog kruga istraživanja javnog mnijenja na temu „Stavovi građana o policiji” u hotelu Jelena u Banjaluci. Prezentacija je organizovanja u okviru projekta “Puls Integriteta i Povjerenja u Policiju na Zapadnom Balkanu” koji finansijski podržava Evropska unija. Predmetnom događaju prisustvovali su predstavnici iz kantonalnih MUP-ova i MUP-a RS-a.
Tokom radnog skupa, tim Centra za sigurnosne studije je sa učesnicima diskutovao i o pitanjima policiskog integriteta u Bosni i Hercegovini, posebno pitanjima vezanim za transparentnost, upravljanje ljudskim resursima i finansijama, te vanjski nadzor i untrašnju kontrolu. Predstavnici policijskih institucija su ukazali na ključne izazove i probleme u ovim oblastima te izrazili potrebu za unapređenjem stanja u ovoj oblasti.
On Wednesday, 28 September of 2016, the presentation of the results of the second round of research on the topic “The Citizen’s Opinion of the Police Force” was held in hotel Jelena in Banja Luka. The presentation was organized within the “Western Balkans Pulse for Police Integrity and Trust, which is financially supported by the European Union. The event was attended by representatives of the Cantonal MoI and MIA of RS.
During the presentation, the Centre for Security Studies team and participants discussed the matters of police integrity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly issues related to transparency, human resource management and finance, as well as an external oversight and internal control. Representatives of the police institutions have highlighted the key challenges and problems in these areas and expressed the need to improve the situation in this area.
