U okviru projekta “PRAVA – Protecting Rights through Awareness and Accountability”, naš tim je tokom proteklog perioda realizovao terenske informativne aktivnosti u šest gradova Bosne i Hercegovine: Zenica, Tuzla, Mostar, Sarajevo, Banja Luka i Bihać.

PRAVA – Protecting Rights through Awareness and Accountability: CSS conducted informative campaign in 6 cities in BiH!
As part of the project “PRAVA – Protecting Rights through Awareness and Accountability”, our team recently conducted field-based informational activities in six cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina: Zenica, Tuzla, Mostar, Sarajevo, Banja Luka, and Bihać.
The aim of the campaign was to enhance citizens’ understanding of police powers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the available mechanisms for protecting their rights in cases of potential abuse or overreach by police officers. During these activities, informational leaflets were distributed, clearly outlining the responsibilities of police authorities, along with contact information and addresses of citizen complaint boards.
It is particularly noteworthy that citizens in all visited cities showed significant interest in this topic. Many took the opportunity to ask questions, seek additional clarification about their rights and complaint procedures, and share their own experiences and concerns. Such engagement underscores the ongoing need to inform the public and strengthen legal literacy regarding police powers and citizens’ rights.
We would like to remind that the “PRAVA – Protecting Rights and Awareness through Accountability” project aims to support the development of better relationships between police officers and the communities they serve, which is the foundation of citizens’ trust in police agencies and a crucial condition for an effective response to contemporary security challenges.
