U okviru projekta PRAVA, kreirali smo informativni letak čiji je cilj edukacija građana i građanki Bosne i Hercegovine o policijskim ovlastima i pravnim okvirima njihovog djelovanja.

Ovakva inicijativa doprinosi osnaživanju građana, povećanju transparentnosti rada policijskih institucija i razvijanju aktivnog građanskog angažmana.

PRAVA – Protecting Rights through Awareness and Accountability: Get familiar with the informative leaflet regarding powers of police officers in BiH!

Within the framework of the PRAVA project, we have created an informative leaflet aimed at educating the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina about police powers and the legal framework governing their operations. The leaflet provides clear and accessible information to help citizens understand the rights and responsibilities of police institutions, as well as the channels for submitting complaints in cases of abuse or overreach of authority.

This material represents a key tool in raising awareness and informing the public, strengthening trust in the security sector, and supporting democratic accountability. The information from the leaflet is available to citizens through printed copies as well as digitally via the CSS website and social media, ensuring wide accessibility and public engagement.

Such an initiative contributes to empowering citizens, increasing transparency in the work of police institutions, and fostering active civic engagement.

We would like to remind that the “PRAVA – Protecting Rights and Awareness through Accountability” project aims to support the development of better relationships between police officers and the communities they serve, which is the foundation of citizens’ trust in police agencies and a crucial condition for an effective response to contemporary security challenges.

You can follow the project’s implementation on our official website and by using the hashtags #CSSBiH, #CanadaFundBiH, and #PRAVA on social media.

We are grateful for Canada’s contribution to this project through the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives.
